The Big Show of Calderaro

Level 24 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante
James Calderaro
James Calderaro

James Calderaro raised to 175,000, and Ben Tollerene called in the big blind.

The flop came {Q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, and Tollere checked. Calderaro bet 300,000 and was called. Both players checked the {8-Diamonds} turn before the {A-Hearts} river paired the board. Tollerene bet 300,000, and Calderaro called.

"If you got queens full, you are my hero," Calderaro said. Tollerene shook his head, then announced ace-queen. Calderaro turned over {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a full house and raked in the pot. "He is gonna be my hero," Calderaro added to the rail.

Shortly thereafter, Calderaro raised to 175,000, and Esther Taylor called on the button.

"Just because you are on the button, doesn't mean you have a hand," Calderaro said over to Taylor, who just grinned back. Calderaro bet the {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop for 175,000, and Taylor called before the {J-Clubs} turn and {10-Diamonds} river were checked through.

Taylor announced a straight and showed {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Calderaro showed his cards to his rail, with kings and tens in his hand, and mucked.
