Kyle Bowker Sends One Home

Level 1 : 75/150, 0 ante

There was a preflop raise to 400 that got four callers before the dealer fanned out a flop of {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. All five players checked and the turn brought the {4-Diamonds}. The big blind checked to Kyle Bowker in early position who bet 1,225, one player behind him called, Anthony Zinno folded from late position, and the big blind check-raised all-in for about 7,500. Bowker quickly called, the third player got out of the way, and Bowker and the big blind tabled their hands.

Big blind: {A-Spades}{4-Spades}
Bowker: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The big blind had paired his four on the turn but Bowker had a commanding lead with his pocket kings. The {J-Hearts} river changed nothing and Bowker took the pot to send his opponent to the rail just before the first break of the day.
