Larry Smalley spent the entire day next to big stack Albert Daher, and the tides have since changed, as Smalley moved out of the middle of the pack and among the chip leaders.
In a recent hand, Smalley went to the river of a 
board and claimed the 70,000-chip pot by moving all in for more than 370,000. His sole remaining opponent elected to fold to award the chips to Smalley.
