Gyeongbyeong Lee Wins Massive Pot on the River

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

There was a large pot brewing between Gyeongbyeong Lee and Le Tieu inside the Brasilia Room. With over 600,000 in the middle already, the board read {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}.

Lee bet 200,000 from under-the-gun and Tieu raised to 600,000. Lee tanked for a couple minutes before moving all-in for 1,141,000 and the action was back on Tieu. He also tanked for a couple minutes before pushing forward a stack of chips to call.

Lee tabled {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Tieu turned over {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} as he gave a fist pump, excited about making the right call. There was still one more card to come, however, and the dealer burned and turned the {q-Clubs} as the river. Lee rivered a straight and scored a massive double up, courtesy of Tieu.
