Feature Table Hands #92-95: Lamb Defends His Big Blind
Hand #92: Ben Lamb raised to 950,000 from middle position and Scott Stewart moved all in for 6,350,000 from the hijack. The action was folded back around to Lamb who quickly tossed his cards away.
Hand #93: Scott Blumstein opened with a raise to 850,000 from under the gun but could not get any action from the table, and just picked up the blinds and antes.
Hand #94: The action was folded around to Valentin Messina who limped from the small blind and Blumstein jammed all in. Messina's tournament life would be on the line, should he call, but he elected to pass and Blumstein took down the pot.
Hand #95: Richard Dubini limped from the hijack position and Ben Lamb checked his option. The flop came and both players checked to the turn card. Both players checked again and the landed on the river. Lamb bet 700,000 and Dubini made the call. Lamb tabled for a pair of jacks and he raked in the pot.
