Park Doubles Up Through Shen

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Qi Shen opened with a raise to 8,000 and was called in two spots before Danny Park moved all in from the big blind for roughly 55,000. Action was back on Shen and then tanked a bit then called. Both other players folded so it was heads-up to a showdown.

Danny Park: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Qi Shen: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}

The board ran out {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Park earned a double up to over 100,000 with his two pair, kings and queens, while Shen took a hit down to about 165,000.

Godena Sends One to the Rail to Move Over 400k

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Jarryd Godena called an all in from another player who was holding right around 100,000 chips. Godena had him covered, putting the player at risk.

Jarryd Godena: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}
Opponent: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Godena made trips on the flop and turned a full house, leaving his opponent drawing dead and heading to the rail. Sutherland Scoops The Biggest Pot of the Tournament So Far to Take the Chip Lead

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Robert Sutherland
Robert Sutherland

A player moved all in before the flop and he was called by both Robert Sutherland and Robert Harrison creating a monster pot already before the flop and heads-up side action for a side for containing over 50,000.

The flop was {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts} and Sutherland was the first to act. He put out a bet of 50,000 and Harrison thought about it for a bit, then called.

Both players checked on the {Q-Clubs} turn and the {8-Clubs} came on the river. There, Sutherland moved all in for 128,000. Harrison dropped into the tank.

"Why did you check man?" Sutherland asked. "Why did you check?"

"When?" Harrison asked.

Harrison agonized over the decision, trying to talk himself through possible hands that Sutherland could have.

"Ace-king? Or ace-queen?" Harrison questioned. "Will you show if I fold?"

One of the players at the table let him know that Sutherland would have to show anyways, since a player was all in.

"True," Harrison said. "At least I get to see it."

Harrison was in the tank for nearly 4 minutes in total but settled on a call in the end. Sutherland turned up {Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for a full house and Harrison could only show {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} for two pair. The all in player mucked so Sutherland took down the biggest pot of the tournament so far, moving over 400,000 chips.

Harrison fell from the top of the leaderboard back down to the middle of the pack with just under 100,000 chips.

Demlakian Doubles Through Hassan

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Ken Demlakian moved all in on a flop of {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Huss Hassan called. Demlakian was at risk for right around 45,000 and Hassan had him covered.

Ken Demlakian: {J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Huss Hassan: {Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Demlakian held an up and down straight draw while Huss was holding top pair. The turn was the {A-Clubs} which changed nothing but the river was the {K-Hearts} so Demlakian completed his straight to double up while Hassan was cut down to just over 130,000 chips.
