Doing the Short-Stack Shuffle

Paul Jackson: speaks English. No, really.
Paul Jackson: speaks English. No, really.
There are quite a few stacks staring the felt in the face, one of them being Dave 'Devilfish' Ulliott, who was just saved from the blind momentarily by being moved upstairs. He's been characteristically chatty, and is wearing a bright red T-shirt saying, "HI. YOU'LL DO." When asked if he needed a rack for his 11,000, he replied, "I don't need a rack, could get 'em in a thimble."

Paul Jackson is equally short, but still showing down good hands when he gets the respect players seem ready to give him. Just now he moved in on a Nine-high flop, pushing off Ian Munns, and showed him pocket Jacks. The Woverhampton-based player was infamously asked to "speak only English at the table," after his fast-paced, strongly-accented banter caused consternation among a table of American players in Vegas last year.
