Ognjen Sekularac Takes The Overall Chip Lead Into Day 2

Today Day 1f of Event #5: THE COLOSSUS ended with all 18 levels of play being needed to get to eleven remaining players. Ognjen Sekularac is the absolute chip leader of the day, and of everyone that has advanced to Day 2 already, with 447,500 chips.

Sekularac has an impressive list of cashes already with his biggest cash taking place almost three months ago when he finished in 2nd place in the $1,000 No-Limit Holdem Event during the 2017 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He has actually won a tournament here in Rozvadov before but that was five years ago so he will be looking to add a gold bracelet to his collection to embellish it even more.

Second in chips is Sebastian Curcu from Germany who seems to be a local here in the casino as all his cashes have taken place here in the Kings Casino. He will take 329,000 to the table on Wednesday when he takes his seat for Day 2. Another German to make it through to Day 2, third in chips for today, is Sebastian Wolfrom with 323,500 chips. This will be his biggest cash up till now so he will definitely be looking to make that cash even bigger now.

Other notables making it through to Day 2 are Rifat Gegic (125,500) and Max Pescatori (81,000). Unfortunately, not everyone was lucky enough to make it through, players like Chris Ferguson, Martin Kabrhel, Ryan Hughes, Georgios Zisimopoulos, Allen Kessler, Roland Israelashvili, Michael Magalashvili, Dermot Blain, Tobias Peters and many others.

Day 1g and 1h will take place tomorrow here at the Kings Casino so keep following PokerNews for all the latest news.
