Day 1h of Event #5: THE COLOSSUS ended today with 29 players making it through to Day 2 on Wednesday November 1st. After more than 9 hours of play Jaroslaw Sikora takes the chip lead honours for Day 1h with 507,00 chips. This also means he is the overall chip leader of all the players that have made it to Day 2 already.

Sikora has been here for a few weeks already having cashed three times this month during the WSOP Circuit events. Sikora is definitely no stranger to big tournaments and big cashes as he has accumulated more than $1,000,000 in live cashes already. Second in chips is Laszlo Toth from Hungary who has also been here in Rozvadov for a while already. He has two cashes in the earlier WSOP Circuit events here. He is taking 484,500 with him to the tables on Wednesday. Sander van Wesemael is third in chips today with 472,000. After nursing a pretty short stack at the beginning of the day, things started going a lot better for him in the second half of the day.

Other notables making it through to Day 2 are Michael Magalashvili (241,500), new WSOPE bracelet winner Martin Kabrhel (235,000), Erich Kollmann (217,500), Erik Cajelais (160,500) and Vladimir Burstein (120,000). Unfortunately, not everyone make it through today, players like Theodoros Aidonopoulos, Catalin Pop, Pierre Neuville, Sebastian Langrock, Chris Ferguson, Ryan Hughes, Dermot Blain and many others fell today.

The last two flights take place tomorrow here at the Kings Casino so stay tuned to PokerNews for all the latest news.
