Level 17 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Christoph Vogelsang
Christoph Vogelsang

Matthias Eibinger raised to 690,000 from the cutoff with {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} and Christoph Vogelsang defended his big blind holding {6-Spades}{2-Spades}.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, Eibinger hit two pair but Vogelsang flopped trip deuces. Vogelsang quickly checked and Eibinger continued with a bet of 400,000. Vogelsang took some time and raised to 1,300,000. Eibinger called.

The turn brought them the {7-Hearts}, Vogelsang bet 4,000,000 and Eibinger called.

The river completed the board with the {10-Clubs} to keep Vogelsang ahead. Vogelsang grabbed part of his stack and pushed it in as a bet. Eibinger asked for a count and the dealer complied while Vogelsang hid his face behind both of his hands. The dealer confirmed Vogelsang bet 8,075,000. Eibinger dived into the tank and flicked in the chip for the call.

Anatoly Filatov raised it up to 625,000 on the button and Ole Schemion ripped all in for his last 2,620,000 in the small blind. The action was back in Filatov who made an easy call.

Anatoly Filatov: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Ole Schemion: {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

The flop came {j-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{3-Spades} to leave Filatov in the lead with his pocket kings. The {10-Hearts} on the turn gave Schemion a straight draw but his ace was no longer any good. It was the {a-Hearts} on the river that improved Filatov to a straight and Schemion was eliminated in sixth place.

Danny Tang
Danny Tang

Matthias Eibinger made it 690,000 to go from under the gun and Danny Tang, who was on the short stack, shoved all in for 3,300,000 in the cutoff. The action folded back to Eibinger who quickly made the call to put Tang at risk.

Matthias Eibinger: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Danny Tang: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

It was a coin flip with Tang needing to connect with the board in order to stay alive. The flop came {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts} but neither play held a heart in their hand. The {7-Clubs} on the turn was no help to Tang and the {8-Hearts} on the river confirmed his exit from the tournament.
