Loeser Takes From Pidun

Level 10 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Manig Loeser opened to 40,000 under the gun and action folded to Cary Katz who called from the small blind along with Daniel Pidun in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts} that was checked around to the {9-Diamonds} turn. Katz and Pidun checked and Loeser fired 75,000. Katz folded but Pidun check-called. The river was the {9-Spades} and Pidun checked once more. Loeser threw in a bet of 280,000. Pidun took a few seconds of reflection, then called. Loeser tabled {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a straight to win the pot and Pidun showed {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for trip nines before sending his hand to the muck.
