Klostermeier Takes Three In A Row

Level 24 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Hand One

Maximilian Klostermeier opened to 360,000 on the button and Joni Jouhkimainen defended his big blind.

Jouhkimainen check-folded when his opponent continued for 425,000 on the {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop.

Hand Two

Jouhkimainen limped the button and Klostermeier checked. The flop came {j-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades}. The latter check-raised to 480,000 after the Finnish pro bet 175,000 which got him off the pot.

Hand Three

It was the chip leaders turn now to just call the big blind and Jouhkimainen checked to see a free flop of {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} Action checked through to the {9-Spades} turn where Jouhkimainen check-called a bet of 325,000.

Both players checked the {j-Clubs} river, Jouhkimainen announced top two but it was no good against the German's {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for a turned straight.
