Amsellem Puts Lampropulos to the Test
Paulius Vaitiekunas opened to 12,000 from under the gun. Jacob Amsellem called from one seat over and Renat Bohdanov did the same from the cutoff. Maria Lampropulos three-bet to 65,000 from the button and only Amsellem called.
Amsellem checked-raised to 80,000 on the K?6?4? flop after Lampropulos bet 28,000. The latter called.
Amsellem then emptied the clip and jammed for 352,000 and Lampropulos went deep into the tank for over five moments. In the end she returned her cards to the dealer and conceded the pot.
"Show the bluff," cried the other players at the table.
Amsellem offered a card to Lampropulos and she turned over the 3? which drew some "oooo's."
Amsellem then showed the 3? to show he had taken the ambitious line with just a pair of threes.
