Gerald Karlic

Michael Dick opened to 200,000 from the cutoff and was called by Fabian Gumz on the button before Gerald Karlic three-bet shoved from the small blind for 1,380,000. Dick re-shoved with a covering stack and Gumz got out of the way.

Gerald Karlic: K?Q? All in
Michael Dick: Q?Q?

Dick's Queens held up on the A?A?7?6?3? runout and he took the pot while Karlic made his exit from the tournament area.

Daniel Rezaei Eliminated in 22nd Place (48,700)

Level 25 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Daniel Rezaei
Daniel Rezaei

Daniel Rezaei raised to 160,000 on the button. David Hochheim tossed in 480,000 in the small blind for a three-bet, which Rezaei clicked back to 880,000.

Hochheim did not deem that enough, however, and put Razaei all-in for 2,815,000. Razaei snap called the five-bet and the cards were tabled.

Daniel Rezaei: Q?Q? All in
David Hochheim: A?8?

Hochheim had tried to pull a move but was a big underdog against Rezaei's queens. However, the 5?9?A? flop brought him top pair to reverse the situation.

Neither the 6? turn nor the 2? river could save Rezaei, who was sent to the exit after a brutal bad beat.

Matei Lupascu Eliminated in 23rd Place (48,700)

Level 25 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Matei Lupascu
Matei Lupascu

Simone Andrian opened to 160,000 from under the gun and Urmo Velvelt three-bet to 500,000 from the next seat over. Matei Lupascu four-bet shoved for 3,340,000 from the small blind and Andrian re-shoved, covering Velvelt who had about 4,500,000 behind. Velvelt went deep into the tank, burning through a few time extensions before opting to fold leaving Lupascu at risk against the chip leader.

Matei Lupascu: A?K? All in
Simone Andrian: K?K?

Lupascu was on the wrong side of a massive cooler and couldn't crack Andrian's pocket kings on the 7?7?2?3?2? runout. Lupascu was sent to the rail while Andrian passed 15,000,000 chips and currently holds 20 percent of the total chips in play with 22 players remaining.

Ran Ilani
Ran Ilani

Ran Ilani raised to 160,000 in middle position and saw Daniel Rezaei make the call in the hijack. The rest of the table folded, leaving the players heads up on a flop of 6?2?3?.

Ilani checked to Rezaei, who bet 150,000. Ilani called to the 3? turn, where he checked again. Rezaei continued firing, this time putting in a bet of 580,000. Ilani tossed in a time extension and then tossed in a call.

The 4? river fell and Ilani checked for a third time. Rezei put his opponent all-in for 1,825,000 and a snap call followed. Rezaei tabled Q?J? for a flush but Ilani had the higher flush with K?9?.

The massive pot was shipped to Ilani, who doubled up to a stack of 70 big blinds.

The action was picked up on the turn with the board showing 2?A?3?A?. Daniel Rezaei bet 375,000 from the cutoff and Marcello Manganiello called out of the small blind.

Rezaei turned over A?3? for a full house and dragged in the pot, as Manganiello turned over Q?8? for a rivered flush.

Andrian Reaches Eight Figures, Busts Sanaia

Level 24 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Simone Andrian
Simone Andrian

Pavel Svach raised to 125,000 in the cutoff. Simone Andrian defended his big blind and then check-raised on the 10?8?5? flop. Svach had continued for 175,000, which Andrian made 525,000 to go.

Svach called to the Q? turn, which they both checked. Andrian picked up the aggression again and fired 450,000 on the 4? river and was snapped off by Svach.

Andrian tabled Q?J? for top pair, eliciting a sigh from Svach as he paid his opponent.

The next hand, Andrian open-jammed from the small blind and Alberti Sanaia instantly called off his stack of 1,200,000 in the big blind.

Alberti Sanaia: A?K? All in
Simone Andrian: 5?5?

"I think it's going to be hard for you," Andrian said before the 8?K?4? flop was dealt.

It turned out Andrian was right, as the 10?5? runout rivered him a set, beating the flopped top pair of Sanaia. Sanaia immediately left the tournament floor as Andrian stacked up an enormous pile of chips.
