Butuc Getting Involved
Gheorghe Butuc has been involved in plenty of the last few hands but the overall result was a net loss in chips.
First, Butuc opened to 50,000 from under the gun and got called by Presiyan Tsvetanov in the big blind. On the 2?K?8? flop, Tsvetanov check-called a bet of 50,000 from Butuc.
Both checked the Q? turn then Tsvetanov led for 150,000 on the 4? river. Butuc folded.
In the second hand, Claudio Di Giacomo made it 50,000 from the button and both Tsvetanov & Butuc called from the blinds.
The 5?9?5? flop was checked to the 8? turn where Butuc's 100,000-chip bet won him the pot.
Then, there were already a chunk of chips in the pot on a turn of 5?K?J?7? when Di Giacomo bet 100,000, and Butuc called.
On the K? river, Di Giacomo bet 180,000 and after a long time, Butuc folded.
