Claire Renaut is up to 46,000 after winning a "crazy pot" against Tommy Vedes. She had opened to 1,700 from UTG and he made the call in the big blind.

The flop came {8-Clubs} {6-} {4-Clubs} and Renaut ended up bet/3bet shoving over Vedes check-raise and Vedes made the call with {A-Clubs} {9-Clubs} against Renaut's {7-} {7-} . The former WPT winner somehow contrived to miss all his outs and was crippled down to 4,000 as a result.

Soon after though, he managed to eliminate the only stack shorter than him at the table Michael Conway, when the latter decided to gamble with {7-Diamonds} {4-Spades} against Vedes' {A-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} . The board came {Q-} {J-} {J-} {9-} {8-} though and Vedes now has an 8,000 stack and at least a little fold equity.
