Big Slick Good for Ensan

Level 1 : 100/100, 100 ante
Hossein Ensan
Hossein Ensan

Hossein Ensan opened to 300 from under the gun and received calls from the button as well as both blinds.

All players checked through the {j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} flop to the {4-Hearts} turn where the small blind led out for 1,000. That got folds from the big blind and button players but Ensan made the call to send the two heads-up to the river.

On the board pairing {j-Diamonds} river the small blind checked and Ensan checked back, with the small blind first seeming to muck his hand before then turning it up in order to see Ensan's holding. The 2019 WSOP Main Event champion revealed he held {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}, with ace high being good enough to take down an early pot.
