WCOOP Day 20: Ryan D'Angelo Captures Third Career Bracelet 0001

Big names won bracelets on Day 20 of the 2010 World Championship of Online Poker at PokerStars, but one is particular stood out from the pack. Ryan "g0lfa" D'Angelo captured his third WCOOP Bracelet with a win in Event #55, a $500 No-Limit Hold'em with one re-buy and one add-on. He defeated a final table that included online stalwarts Ravi "gofshark2" Raghavan, Tom "Titantom32" Braband and Matthias "goodvibe1" Neu to claim the first-place prize of $199,450.35.

When D'Angelo makes the final table, he makes it count. His three final tables made in the WCOOP have all resulted in victories, ranging in games from no-limit hold'em to PLO/PLH mixed to 8-game. D'Angelo's versatility make him a threat in any tournament he enters and if he makes the final table, history doesn't bode well for the rest of the players. There had been a logjam at the top of the all-time WCOOP Bracelet list with nine players tied at two bracelets each, but now D'Angelo stands alone at the top with three. The win also bumped his career earnings in the WCOOP to just shy of $325,000.

Joining D'Angelo is the winners circle yesterday were Richard "CHUFTY" Ashby, James "croll103" Carroll, and "aces_up4108".
