There was some added buzz on PokerStars this weekend as the ninth edition of the MicroMillions came to a close with the $22 Main Event. More than 58,000 players participated, creating a massive prize pool of $1,160,000. The eventual winner was Germany's "makarios007" who collected a top prize of $92,899 after a three-handed deal at the final table.

Elsewhere, "PhiRi1" took down the PokerStars Sunday Million after besting a stacked final table that included Jacob "Bazeman11" Bazeley, Luke "LFmagic" Fields and Chris "Run dat Game" Lovett. Other notables who pocketed big paydays on Sunday were Roman "RomeOpro" Romanovsky, Dimitar "KuuL" Danchev and Ami "UhhMee" Barer.
