Taramas Makes Big Flop Shove - Doesn't Get Called

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Ioannis Taramas had won the previous hand with a raise to 65,000 when he made another, this time to 68,000 preflop. Charalampos Kapernopoulos was the only caller to see a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}, Taramas thought for two minutes then moved all in!

He was effectively putting Kapernopoulos at risk for his last 600,000 or so but the latter folded and Taramas let Hauke Heseding turn over one of his cards, it was the {K-Hearts}.

Tough But Correct Laydown for Mothes

Pierre Mothes raised in the cutoff to 58,000 and Hauke Heseding three-bet to 125,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Mothes called and we had a flop to see. The board was {10-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} and Mothes bet 159,000 and Heseding called. The turn of the {3-Clubs} was checked through and then we saw the {3-Hearts} on the river. Mothes checked to Heseding and he bet 150,000 sending Mothes into the tank. After a few minutes Mothes folded and Heseding showed him {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} and Mothes turned over {9-} {9-}.

Kapernopoulos Wins One Then Loses Another

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Zimnan Ziyard raised to 52,000 from the hijack and Charalampos Kapernopoulos flat-called from the button while Hauke Heseding also came along for the ride in the big blind. The three saw a flop of {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and it was checked to Kapernopoulos who bet 78,000 which was enough to win the pot.

The next hand saw Ioannis Taramas raise to 55,000 from the hijack and Kapernopoulos made the call in the cutoff. Both players checked the {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop before Taramas also checked the {A-Clubs} turn, Kapernopoulos fired 55,000 but Taramas made the call to see our first river of the day - the {K-Hearts}. Both players checked and Taramas flipped {A-Spades}{4-Diamonds} to win the pot.
