Orpaz Bluffs It Off, Ferreira Eliminated

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Tom Orpaz raised to 20,000 in the cutoff and Ren Lin called from the big blind. The flop came {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Lin check-called a bet of 20,000 from Orpaz.

The turn brought the {k-Hearts} and Orpaz continued firing with a bet of 75,000 this time. Lin still called and the {2-Clubs} completed the board. Lin nearly checked again but then thought for a few seconds before actually checking. Orpaz quickly made a bet of 150,000 and Lin looked him up.

Orpaz announced jack-high as he tabled {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a missed combo draw while Lin turned over {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} to claim the pot.

At the next table over, Rui Neves Ferreira was all in for 28,000 in the small blind and Felipe Ketzer called in the big blind. Ferreira couldn't connect with the board and Ketzer's king-high was good enough to win the pot.

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Bruno Volkmann shoved all in for 78,000 from under the gun and Daniel Dvoress called from the next seat. The rest of the table folded and the cards were on their backs.

Bruno Volkmann: {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Daniel Dvoress: {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{j-Hearts} and Volkmann won the 50/50 to earn a double up.

A Missclick; A Shove and Aces Around

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Felipe Ketzer
Felipe Ketzer

Ren Lin had a raise to 52,000 out in front and Tom Orpaz then reraised to 108,000. What followed was the shove by Lin and Orpaz was stunned, even more so after he was shown the {a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} by Lin. "I missclicked," Orpaz said after all was done and dusted.

Moments later, there was action on both tables at the same time.

Chris Brewer raised to 20,000 in the hijack and Orpen Kisacikoglu three-bet to 50,000 on the button for Brewer to call. The {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop was checked by Brewer, who then faced a bet worth 60,000 by Kisacikoglu. A few seconds later, Brewer jammed and Kisacikoglu asked for the exact amount.

That happened to be 384,000, which narrowly covered his stack, prompting a tank-fold.

Rui Neves Ferreira had raised to 20,000 in the cutoff on the other table and called a small three-bet to 43,000 by Felipe Ketzer. The {q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop was check-called by Neves Ferreira for 12,000 and the same action repeated on the {8-Hearts} turn for 13,000.

Neves Ferreira also checked the {a-Clubs} on the river and Ketzer used one time bank while eyeballing the stack of his opponent. He made it 125,000 to go after, which represented a large portion of Neves Ferreira's stack. The Portuguese called and gasped as he was shown the {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} for aces full by Ketzer.

Too Many Good Hands; Naves is the Victim

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Tauan Naves
Tauan Naves

Daniel Dvoress opened to 20,000 from under the gun and Kayhan Mokri three-bet to 60,000 on his left. Tauan Naves shoved all in for 157,000 on the button and Felipe Ketzer re-shoved all in as the big stack from the big blind. Dvoress quickly folded but Mokri had a tougher decision. After using one of his time banks, he reluctantly folded as well.

Tauan Naves: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Felipe Ketzer: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

"Jacks," Mokri mumbled under his breath. The board ran out {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and Ketzer made a full house on the turn to send Naves packing.

Grafton Eliminated by Brewer

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

Chris Brewer raised to 20,000 from an early position and Tom Orpaz called in the small blind. Sam Grafton then pushed all-in for 164,000 in the big blind and Brewer verified the amount before moving all-in over the top, forcing out Orpaz in the process.

Sam Grafton: {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Chris Brewer: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}

Orpaz shook his head and asked to get his cards back upon seeing the two small pocket pairs exposed.

Grafton failed to get there on the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Spades} board and Orpaz added "not happy" while Brewer replied "I am happy".

Ketzer Cements Lead; Bounces Astedt

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Niklas Astedt
Niklas Astedt

Felipe Ketzer opened the action with a raise to 21,000 and Niklas Astedt then pushed all-in for 151,000 from one seat over. Once it folded back to Ketzer, he instantly called and rolled over aces.

Niklas Astedt: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Felipe Ketzer: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

"Same hand against Neymar," Ketzer exclaimed while Astedt pointed to his cards and promised one five would come. However, the {9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts} runout brought no help to the online poker legend and Astedt was sent to the rail.

Petrangelo Goes Quiet on the River

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo raised to 22,000 in early position and Tom Orpaz defended from the big blind. The flop came {q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Orpaz check-called a bet of 15,000 from Petrangelo.

The {9-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn and Orpaz checked again. Petrangelo fired out another small bet of 20,000 and Orpaz still called. The {5-Hearts} completed the board and Orpaz checked once more. Petrangelo announced a large bet of 180,000 this time which got some chatter for Orpaz.

"Can you tell me how much in the pot, Nick?" Orpaz asked but got no response. "No talking? Come on, I'm just an amateur player."

Orpaz opted to lay his hand down and Petrangelo scooped the pot.

No Flop in Sight for Now

Level 14 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Two hands in a row, Tom Orpaz raised to 20,000. Ren Lin three-bet to 80,000 in the first hand and Orpaz let go after some table chatter, in which he asked whether or not Lin wanted the chips he had invested or a call.

In the next hand, no resistance followed and Orpaz instantly recovered the previous losses.

Over on table two, Tauan Naves raised to 20,000 and folded to a shove by Rui Neves Ferreira.
