€550 Main Event Pokercode Festival finally attracted 459 entrants on the four opening flights in Gran Via casino Madrid. It's a new record field, easily breaking the 253-entrants figures reached in the first edition in Bratislava in 2021. After Day 1a and b, Day 1c flight kicked off this Friday attracted a nice field of 128 entrants.

Among them, 20 players managed to bag for Day 2, all in the money, joining the first 30 qualifiers. Romanian player Adrian Rares Muresa is the chipleader with a stack of 895,000 after more than eighteen 30-minute levels. He is ahead of James Grogan (738,000) and Giulio Spampinato (670,000)

Among the other players to qualify for Day 2 were Austrian player Samuel Mullur (480,000), Samuel Ju (466,000), Karim Benamrouche (401,000), day 1a bubble woman Alexandra O'Brien (149,000), Jan Wagner (74,000) and Stefan Peukert (42,000).

Several regulars players took their chance in Day 1c but were unable to qualify for Day 2, including Pokercode founder Fedor Holz. But he has a last chance in Day 1d Fast. Actually, Day 1d Fast attracted the largest number of entrants (136) and they are playing until 21 players left. Benoit Kuhn managed to bag a huge stack of 1,050,000 chips, becoming the overall chipleader for Day 2.
