The live stream of this event, the RIU Reno VIII $235 Black Chip Bounty, just got underway. If you want to watch some poker action you can do so at RunItUp.TV or simply by clicking the "Live Stream" tab above.
The PokerNews Live Reporting Team is focused on five events at the RIU Reno VIII, but there are plenty of side events throughout including Monday’s $125 NL Bomb Pot, a tournament played like traditional no-limit hold’em but requires players to each put up an ante and action starts on the flop.
The tournament attracted 124 runners which surpassed the guarantee by creating a $12,028 prize pool. The top 20 players got a piece of it including Michael Holmes (20th - $200), Kyle Anderson (15th - $250), Carlos Pal (9th - $390), Twitch streamer Arlie Shaban (7th - $570), Adam Owen (4th - $970), and former RIU Reno Main Event champ DJ Fenton (3rd - $1,228).
In the end, John Lewis of Portland, Oregon defeated Michael Wood in heads-up play to win the title and a $2,440 first-place prize.

Jon Cockey opened for 8,000 from early position and Michael Madan called from the hijack. The player in the cutoff flatted, the big blind came along, and it was four-way action to the flop.
Two checks saw Madan bet 20,000, the cutoff folded, and the player in the big blind check-raised all in for roughly 30,000. Cockey got out of the way and Madan made a quick call.
Madan:
Big Blind:
It was a brutal set-over-set flop and Madan had the best of it. All he had to do was dodge the case three, which he did when the appeared on the turn followed by the on the river.

UTG:
Acosta was out in front and held the better kicker when the flop paired both players. The turn gave the UTG player a straight draw, but the river was safe for Acosta.
