Casino Championship Update

Level 28 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Mark Maletic, who was recently eliminated in seventh place, still has a shot at winning the title of the Casino Champion. He has just hopped in the $365 Turbo across the room and a deep run in this could seal the deal for him. Maletic would need to finish in sixth place to tie with current leader John Holley and a fifth place finish would ensure him overtaking Holley in points. However, there are still many possible outcomes at this point, as if another ring winner were to lock up the title in the Turbo, they could also take it down.

Cary Doubles Through McKeldin

Level 28 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Norman McKeldin was under the gun and raised to 70,000. It folded around to Jonathan Cary in the big blind who wasted little time three-betting all in for 565,000. McKeldin snapped him off and the hands were revealed to find the two racing.

McKeldin: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}
Cary: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The flop was safe for Cary as it came {4-Hearts}{5-Spades}{9-Hearts}. The turn was the {2-Spades} and gave McKeldin additional outs if a trey were to fall on the river. Fifth street was, however, the {8-Clubs} and Cary was able to score a double up to about 1.2 million.

Mark Maletic Eliminated in 7th Place ($30,789)

Level 28 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Mark Maletic raised all in for his last 545,000 from under the gun. It folded all of the way around to Norman McKeldin who called from the small blind.

Maletic: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}
McKeldin: {K-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Maletic was out in front and stayed in the lead on the {2-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop. The turn, however, was not kind to Maletic as it brought the {J-Clubs}, giving McKeldin a winning two pair. Maletic failed to improve on the river and McKeldin made a full house with the {J-Diamonds} as a nail in the coffin. Maletic was eliminated in seventh place and will take home $30,789 for his efforts.
