Goff's Jacks Can't Hold

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Dustin Goff
Dustin Goff

Steven Lillis raised to 100,000 in middle position and Dustin Goff jammed all of his chips in the middle for about 300,000 from the small blind. The big folded and Lillis dropped a chip to call.

Dustin Goff: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Steven Lillis: {a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

"I always lose with this hand," Goff said before the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} flop came. Unfortunately for Goff there was no jack on the {5-Diamonds} turn or {5-Hearts} river and Goff was sent to the payout desk.

Goutard Eliminates Sun

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Antoine Goutard went all-in for about 2.4 million and it folded around to Chung Sun who made the call all-in for about 400K in chips to put himself at risk for his tournament life.

Chung Sun: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Antoine Goutard: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The board would run out {6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{k-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts} which would be no help to Sun as Goutard hit his King on the flop and Sun would be eliminated from the tournament.

In a blind versus blind pot, Melanie Weisner checked to Jim Collopy on the {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop, and he checked back. The {6-Diamonds} hit the turn and Weisner led out for 50,000 and Collopy called.

The {2-Diamonds} completed the board on the river and Weisner checked to Collopy before he splashed in a bet of 180,000. After some deliberation, Weisner made the call and he fast rolled his {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a flush on the river and Weisner mucked her hand.

The following hand, The action folded to Paul Kelly in the cutoff and he raised to 90,000 before Weisner shipped all-in for about 290,000 which was enough to take it down preflop.

Liu Makes Two Pair to Eliminate Aftab

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Ping Liu raised to 80,000 and the action folded around to Patni Aftab in the big blind and he jammed all-in. Liu asked for a count and after finding out it was 310,000 he made the call.

Patni Aftab: {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Ping Liu: {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Aftab was slightly behind but became a further underdog as the flop came {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, giving Liu a pair of aces. The {6-Diamonds} on the turn and the {4-Spades} river were no help for Aftab as Liu made two pair to eliminate him.
