Hong Holds to Double

Level 30 : 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Jinho Hong
Jinho Hong

Yuki Kashihara opened to 300,000 from the cutoff, Stephan Nussrallah flatted on the button, and Jinho Hong jammed in the small blind for 1,925,000. Kashihara thought about it and called, and Nussrallah folded.

Jinho Hong: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Yuki Kashihara: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The {q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop changed nothing and neither did the {6-Diamonds} turn. Hong just needed to fade an ace, and the {10-Diamonds} completed the board as Hong's rail loudly erupted, spooking Arsenii Karmatckii who was sitting right in front of them, and securing Hong's double with the cowboys.

Sanchez Wins Massive Pot

Level 30 : 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Diego Sanchez
Diego Sanchez

Picking up the action after the flop, Diego Sanchez from under the gun was involved in a hand with Daniel Smiljkovic out of the small blind. With the board reading {8-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts} Smiljkovic led out for 900,000 and was called.

The {9-Hearts} turn saw Smiljkovic continue his aggression with a bet of 1,800,000. Sanchez, after thinking for some time, announced all in. Smiljkovic snapped him off with the bigger stack to put Sanchez at risk.

Diego Sanchez: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Daniel Smiljkovic: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

Sanchez had found a very fortunate turn and looked set to scoop a huge pot and the chiplead. He did just that after the river bricked out {8-Clubs}.

Ladies Kind to Dothar

Level 30 : 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Daniel Smiljkovic opened from under the gun and Jampa Dothar moved all in from the cutoff. Action folded back around to Smiljkovic who made the call to put Dothar at risk.

Jampa Dothar: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Daniel Smiljkovic: {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}

Dothar, though at risk, held a commanding lead over his opponent. Nothing changed on the {9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{q-Spades}{9-Diamonds} runout, handing Dothar a full double up.

Mohammad Siddiqui Eliminated in 11th Place ($61,950)

Level 30 : 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Mohammad Siddiqui
Mohammad Siddiqui

Mohammad Siddiqui opened to 300,000 from the cutoff, Daniel Smiljkovic three-bet to 900,000 in the big blind, and Siddiqui moved all in. Smiljkovic called.

Mohammad Siddiqui: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Daniel Smiljkovic: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Siddiqui was at risk and pipped, and the {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{7-Spades}{10-Diamonds} failed to improve him, eliminating him in 11th place for $61,950.

Albert Nguyen Eliminated in 12th Place ($53,313)

Level 30 : 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Albert Nguyen
Albert Nguyen

Daniel Smiljkovic opened to 300,000 from under the gun and Albert Nguyen moved all in from the cutoff. Mohammad Siddiqui called with the shorter stack out of the big blind and Smiljkovic folded.

Mohammad Siddiqui: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Albert Nguyen: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Siddiqui was flipping for his tournament life but found immediate help on the {7-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop. The {q-Clubs} turn and {10-Spades} river kept him ahead, pushing his stack north of 5,000,000 while leaving Nguyen short.

On the next hand Nguyen moved all in for his last 700,000 from middle position and was called by Andrew Moreno on the button.

Albert Nguyen: {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Andrew Moreno: {k-}{j-}

Nguyen was slightly ahead. The {5-Spades}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop paired up Moreno, leaving Nguyen drawing thin. The {j-Diamonds} turn sealed the deal for Moreno before the meaningless {3-Hearts} river hit the felt, sending Nyugen out of the tournament in 12th place.

Romero Doubles Through Karmatckii

Level 29 : 75,000/125,000, 125,000 ante
James Romero
James Romero

James Romero opened to 275,000 under the gun and Arsenii Karmatckii defended the big blind.

The dealer spread the {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop and Karmatckii check-raised a bet of 175,000 up to 450,000. Romero called.

The {3-Diamonds} landed on the turn, Karmatckii moved all in, and Romero called for his 1,025,000 chips.

James Romero: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Arsenii Karmatckii: {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

Romero was ahead, and {4-Clubs} completed the board to confirm his double.
