Hanna Doubles Through Hegele

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Joseph Oren raised to 6,500 from the button and Michael Brandau three-bet to 15,500 from the small blind, which Oren called. The flop came {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Brandau's bet of 30,000 won the pot. "That was a pretty bad flop for me," Oren added.

Scott Hanna doubled up in a flip with {J-Clubs}{J-Spades} against the ace-queen of Robin Hegele when the board came {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} to see Hegele take the lead on the turn before Hanna regained the lead to restore the preflop order.

Furthermore, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier chipped up slightly through Kacper Pyzara while fellow Frenchman Benjamin Benoit is also on the up for the day.

Van Wesemael Wins a Flip; Karlic Gone Again

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

The pocket nines of Maxi Lehmanski were already in the muck while he paid off table neighbour Sander van Wesemael on the button for 60,400 in total. It was van Wesemael who was at risk with {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and the Dutchman got there on on a board of {K-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}.

Gerald Karlic's second bullet lasted all but a few minutes. Moritz Dietrich raised to 5,000 and was called by Ismael Bojang before Karlic shoved for 25,000 with king-queen. Dietrich called with ace-king and held up to add further chips to his growing tower.

Eiler Applies The Pressure

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante
Andreas Eiler moves into second place
Andreas Eiler moves into second place

Sponsored partypoker pro Anatoly Filatov raised under the gun to 6,000, getting it through literally nobody, before Andreas Eiler put in the 3-bet to 14,500. That was enough to earn the respect of the rest of the table, with action folding all the way back to Filatov, who made the call.

Filatov checked the {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades} over to Eiler, who put in a small 11,000 continuation bet. Filatov quickly called as the dealer burned and turned the {4-Hearts}. Eiler reached for 28,000 after having action checked over to him once more, with Filatov calling again. The {k-Diamonds} hit the river, and Anatoly checked a third time. This time, Eiler's 55,000 triple barrel got the job done, with Filatov folding his cards without much thought, before counting his remaining stack.

Meanwhile, Eiler moves into second place behind Moritz Dietrich.

Karlic and Hegele Back In

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Moritz Dietrich is approaching half a million in chips while Abraham Passet's stack has gone to zero. Robin Hegele and Gerald Karlic re-entered and the latter received the very same seat on his former table.

Last but not least, Kenny Hallaert raised to 5,500 and The Talk called on the button. Anatoly Filatov three-bet to 53,200 with just 5,000 behind and Hallaert quickly folded. The Talk added some table talk and guessed he was up against either ace-king or pocket sevens, then folded and claimed that his own pocket pair was not good enough.

Karlic Joins the Rail

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

A short-stacked Gerald Karlic eventually found himself all in and at risk with {A-}{8-} and Moritz Dietrich looked him up with the dominating {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. The board ran out jack-high and neither player hit anything, the kicker played and Karlic was done for now. However, he can still re-enter in the current or next level to take a shot at the juicy prize pool.

Manig Loeser defended his big blind to a raise by Philipp Gruissem and there was no betting action on the board {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Loeser showed {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and that was good enough to win the pot.

Capoblanco Chips Up

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

While Joseph Oren was sent back to starting stack, fellow re-entry hopefuls Pierre Neuville and Antonello Capoblanco chipped up.

On the three-way flop of {6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, Capoblanco bet 15,000 and picked up calls by Julian Thomas and Maxi Lehmanski. The {8-Clubs} fell on the turn and action checked to Capoblanco, who bet 47,000. That proved to be too much for both Germans and they folded one after the other.

Backdoor Galore

Pierre Neuville picks up a big double
Pierre Neuville picks up a big double

With the table currently playing six-handed, Andreas Eiler opened to 5,400 from the hijack, picking up Pierre Neuville from the small blind and Kenny Hallaert from the big blind.

The three players took an {8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop, with action checking round to Eiler, who put in a continuation bet of 9,500. Both Neuville and Hallaert wanted to see another card, making the call and going to the {6-Clubs} turn. Neuville checked again, with Hallaert taking the lead, betting out 27,000. Eiler thought momentarily, before re-checking his hole cards and folding, while Neuville stuck around to see the river.

The board paired on the {6-Hearts} river, with Neuville checking a third time. After some consideration, Hallaert set Neuville all-in for his remaining 51,600. Neuville wasted no time making the call, turning over {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for backdoor trips. Hallaert showed his {10-Spades}{7-Spades} for a missed combo draw, as Neuville picked up a big double.

Ruzicka and Neys Eliminated

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Vojtech Ruzicka bowed out to Anatoly Filatov and fellow partypoker team pro Jan-Peter Jachtmann claimed the stack of Wim Neys.

Jachtmann four-bet shoved into the 16,900 three-bet of Neys and showed {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}. Neys was well ahead with {A-Spades}{K-Clubs} but Jachtmann found a golden flop in {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, both the {8-Clubs} turn and {2-Spades} river were a mere formality and Neys' 107,000 were covered.

Joseph Oren also doubled after re-entering not long ago. The American was all in and at risk for 78,600 with {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Jan Mach held the dominating {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}. However, the {K-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts} board gave Oren a set and the double up.
