Hanna and Halleux Eliminated

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Scott Hanna
Scott Hanna

There are just 22 players remaining, as both Scott Hanna and Fabrice Halleux have been eliminated.

Hanna was the first to fall. Jan-Peter Jachtmann raised to 10,000 just when the blinds moved up and Kacper Pyzara three-bet to 35,000. Hanna shoved for 210,000 and Jachtmann folded, Pyzara called and had a flip for a big portion of his stack.

Scott Hanna: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Kacper Pyzara: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop paired up Pyzara, and Hanna failed to regain the lead with a blank {J-Diamonds} turn and {5-Hearts} river.

Down to Three Tables

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Kenny Hallaert's stack vanished and almost at the same time, Michael Brandau suffered a big setback.

After Brandau limped, Manig Loeser raised to 12,000 and Brandau called. The flop fell {Q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Brandau bet 16,000, then called the shove of Loeser for 71,500 with {Q-}{8-}. Loeser was ahead preflop but suddenly needed help, tabling his {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}. The {6-Spades} turn and {6-Clubs} river paired the board and Brandau's two pair ended up second-best.

A Really Good Hand To Limp?

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Michaelis drags the six-figure pot away from Julian Thomas
Michaelis drags the six-figure pot away from Julian Thomas

Action was folded roun to Julian Thomas in the cutoff, who declared, "this is a reeeeally good hand to limp," and tossed in a 5,000-value chip to call. Maxi Lehmanski completed from the small blind, and Paul Michaelis checked his option, happy to take the {q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} flop three ways.

Action checked round, with the the {k-Diamonds} coming down on the turn. Lehmanski and Michaelis both checked again, but Thomas decided now was the time to start applying the pressure, betting 11,500. Lehmanski quickly folded, and Michaelis made the call.

The {5-Spades} landed on the river, which Michaelis checked over to Thomas once more. Thomas launched 35,000 in, but no sooner had he done so, than Michaelis made the call.

Thomas very gracefully revealed {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a missed combo draw. Michaelis needed to look twice, but then happily turned over his {k-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for top and bottom pair, dragging the six-figure pot.

Jachtmann Busts Capoblanco

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Jan-Peter Jachtmann
Jan-Peter Jachtmann

Joining the action on the {A-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop, Jan-Peter Jachtmann in the cutoff checked and called a bet of 20,000 by Antonello Capoblanco. After the {6-Hearts} turn, Jachtmann checked once more and Capoblanco made it 25,000 to go. Jachtmann check-raised to 125,000 and called the all in of the Italian.

Antonello Capoblanco: {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Jan-Peter Jachtmann: {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

The {K-Diamonds} river was a blank and Capoblanco was eliminated. Robert Kokoska joined him on the rail soon after and Andreas Eiler, who was moved next to Jachtmann, also bowed out to reduce the field to the last 25 hopefuls.

Bicknell and Gruissem Eliminated

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Manig Loeser called the shove of short stack Matthias de Meulder for 39,000 with {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} and de Meulder was all in and at risk with {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}. The board ran out {6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{J-Spades} and the Belgian got there on the river to double.

Kristen Bicknell lost her re-entry stack to Anatoly Filatov and Roman Cieslik was left short after Fabrice Halleux found a double with deuces for bottom set.

Triple Up for Bojang

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Scott Hanna doubled up with {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for two pair on a board of {5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades} and soon after there was another all in showdown at his table.

Right after, Ismael Bojang was all in and picked up no fewer than two callers in Jan-Peter Jachtmann and Antonello Capoblanco. Both remaining active players checked down the board of {A-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts} entirely and Bojang flashed {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}. "You are good," Jachtmann announced while Capoblanco turned over {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}, and Jachtmann could not deal the final blow with {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} either.

Brandau Flushes Loeser

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Manig Loeser raised to 9,000 and Michael Brandau defended as single big blind to see a flop of {Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Brandau checked and called a bet of 12,500 before the {9-Clubs} turn went check, check. After the {2-Clubs} river, Brandau bet 15,000 and Loeser called only to muck when he was shown {K-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a flopped king-high flush.

Hegele In; Oren Out

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Robin Hegele was the last player to join again and he sat down in a seat he previously held., while Joseph Oren became the latest casualty.

After coming back from the break with around half the starting stack, Oren defended his big blind against a raise to 9,000 by Manig Loeser and check-shoved the {7-}{6-}{5-} flop with {8-}{7-} for top pair and an open-ended straight draw. Loeser had pocket jacks for the overpair and held up.
