Philip Long
Philip Long

Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Philip Long opened with a raise from the hijack and received calls from Michael Thompson in the cutoff and Andrey Zaichenko in the big blind. The flop came {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{q-Spades} and Zaichenko checked. Long made a continuation-bet and Thompson called. Zaichenko folded, bringing the {7-Spades} turn. Long shoved all in for his last 155,000 and Thompson called.

Philip Long: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Michael Thompson: {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}

The river came {10-Hearts} and Long's ace-four was pipped by Thompson's ace-five for high, while also coming up just short on the low end with 7-6-5-4-A against 7-5-4-3-A. His attempt at a second bracelet win ended in 6th place.

Alex Livingston Eliminated in 7th Place ($23,362)

Level 27 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Alex Livingston
Alex Livingston

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Yuri Dzivielevski {x-}{x-} / {6-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{7-Spades} / {x-}
Alex Livingston {x-}{x-} / {7-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} / {x-}
Denis Strebkov {x-}{x-} / {3-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} folded on sixth

Action was checked around on fourth street. On fifth street, Dzivielevski bet and was called by both of his opponents.

On sixth street, the real fireworks began. Dzivielevskii bet over to Livingston who thought for over a minute, seemingly torn by the decision, before announcing a raise. This sent Strebkov deep into the tank.

He apologized to the table for taking so long after about a minute, then thought for about two more minutes before the clock was called by Dzivielevski. Before the countdown was reached, Strebkov flung his hold cards into the muck for a fold. Dzivielevski then called the raise.

On the river, Livingston put in the small remainder of his stack and Dzivielevski called. The players revealed their cards.

Alex Livingston {6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}
Yuri Dzivielevski {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

Dzivielevski's tens and fives were the best hand and just like, that Livingston's tournament was over in 7th place.

Zaichenko Finds Another Double

Level 27 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Andrey Zaichenko
Andrey Zaichenko

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Yuri Dzivielevski was the bring in and Alex Livingston called. Andrey Zaichenko completed and then Dzivielevski made it two bets.

"Aiyah!" said Livingston as he folded.

Zaichenko made it three bets and Dzivielevski raised to put Zaichenko all in. Zaichenko called and they each flipped over their down cards.

Yuri Dzivielevski: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} / {2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-}
Alex Livingston: {x-}{x-} / {3-Clubs} (folded on third)
Andrey Zaichenko: {a-Hearts}{5-Spades} / {2-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

The dealer sent each player's river card to them face-down as the rest of the table was standing up assessing the situation. Zaichenko had aces up with a low draw to an eight, while Dzivielevski had a pair of nines and a low draw to a seven.

"Break it, one time," Zaichenko said. Dzivielevski turned over the {k-Spades} as he congratulated Zaichenko on a nice hand.

"Thank you," Zaichenko responded as he turned over his final card, the {4-Spades} and raked in the pot to secure the double.

Zaichenko Takes Three-Quarters

Level 27 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Andrey Zaichenko
Andrey Zaichenko

Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Andrey Zaichenko opened the action with a raise from middle position and Alex Livingston called on the button. The two went heads up to a flop of {10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Zaichenko check-raised all in for less than two small bets. Livingston made the call.

Andrey Zaichenko: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Alex Livingston: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

Both had the same low draw and Zaichenko was ahead with ace-king to the ace-jack of Livingston. The turn and river came {5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and both players made the nut low. Zaichenko played his ace-king to win the high portion of the pot, taking three-quarters overall and increasing his stack in a significant manner.
