Jukich Quickly Folds to Zarrin's Overbet Jam

Level 40 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante

Mike Jukich meant to call from the small blind with {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} but accidentally put in more than half of a raise, requiring him to min-raise. David Zarrin called from the big blind with {9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Zarrin decided to blast away all-in for 25,000,000 into the 10,000,000 pot and Jukich quickly folded.

Anderson Turns a Set

Level 40 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante

Mateusz Moolhuizen opened from under the gun to 4,000,000 with {a-Spades}{6-Spades}. Francis Anderson was the only caller from the small blind with {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.

The flop saw both players check on a {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Clubs}. The turn {9-Spades} brought some action giving Francis a set and Moolhuizen the nut-flush draw. Francis lead out for 8,000,000 and Moolhuizen made the call.

The river came the {10-Clubs} slowing things down as both players checked. Anderson's set of nines took down the pot.

Joao Simao Hits Three-Outer to Double Up, Zarrin the Short Stack

Level 40 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante
Joao Simao
Joao Simao

David Zarrin opened from under the gun to 4,000,000 and Joao Simao moved all-in for 19,400,000 which Zarrin called.

Joao Simao: {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
David Zarrin {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

The {9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop was no help for Simao but the {k-Hearts} on the turn gave the Brazilian the best hand but he still needed to dodge a heart.

The {6-Clubs} on the river denied the rest of the table a ladder of a little over $60,000 and made Zarrin the short stack.

Jukich Miraculously Hits Runner-Runner Straight in 51 Million Chip Pot

Level 40 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante
Mike Jukich
Mike Jukich

Mike Jukich opened to 5,000,000 with {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} from under the gun and Francis Anderson just called with {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} from the cutoff.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} and Jukich continued for 4,500,000. Anderson made the call.

The turn came the {4-Hearts} and Jukich kept telling his story to the tune of 13,000,000. Anderson flatted once more as the pot bloated to 51,200,000.

The {2-Spades} came on the river, giving Jukich a runner-runner straight and Jukich went all-in for 52,400,000.

Anderson went into the tank for several minutes, asking aloud why Jukich would bluff when Zarrin is only on four big blinds and eventually let it go.

David Zarrin moved all in from the button for his last 6,200,000. Joao Simao made the call from the big blind.

David Zarrin: {k-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Joao Simao: {q-Spades}{5-Spades}

Zarrin got it in ahead but when the board ran out {j-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{q-Clubs} it was Simao scoring the queen on the river to eliminate Zarrin in 6th place.

Moolhuizen Gets Huge Value from Rivered Flush

Level 40 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante
Mateusz Moolhuizen
Mateusz Moolhuizen

Mike Jukich opened for 5,000,000 from the cutoff with {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Mateusz Moolhuizen defended his big blind with {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

The {7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{k-Spades} flop was very much in Moolhuizen's favor and he called Jukich's 3,500,000 continuation bet.

The {9-Diamonds} turn gave Moolhuizen an open-ended straight draw to go along with his flush draw and top pair. Both players checked.

On the {j-Hearts} river, Moolhuizen practically had the board completely covered and checked the river attempting to get value from Jukich.

His plan worked and Jukich bet 15,000,000. Moolhuizen opted to go all-in and Jukich folded.

Level 40 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante

Action started when Mike Jukich opened from under the gun to 5,000,000 with {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}. Francis Anderson was next to act and three-bet to 13,500,000 with {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

It folded back to Jukich who four-bet jammed and Anderson let his hand go.

Moolhuizen Catching Up to Chip Leaders

Level 40 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante

Francis Anderson opened {a-Spades}{9-Spades} for 5,000,000 from the cutoff and Mateusz Moolhuizen three-bet to 13,500,000 with {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} from the button.

Anthony Spinella had {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} in the small blind was visibly annoyed that he was forced to fold in a spot he would have likely shoved otherwise.

Anderson would fold ace-nine suited for the second hand in a row.
