Mishler Doubles Up with Aces vs. Kings

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Chris Mishler was fortunate as he was able to get it all in from under the gun preflop against his opponent in the cutoff.

Chris Mishler: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Cutoff: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The duo squared off for a 95,000-chip pot and the board ran out {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Spades} to give Mishler a big stack just before the second break.

His opponent was left with just 600 chips after that cooler.

Konnikova Hits River Two-Outer to Crack Chuzeville's Aces

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Maria Konnikova

In the last hand before the second break of the day, Antoine Chuzeville opened to 1,200 from the cutoff. Maria Konnikova three-bet from the big blind to 4,800. Chuzeville decided to flat.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Konnikova continued for 7,500 and Chuzeville moved all in. Konnikova called and was behind and at risk.

Maria Konnikova: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Antoine Chuzeville: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

The {9-Diamonds} took away a potential flush draw for Konnikova but a miracle {j-Diamonds} on the river gave her the two-outer she was looking for.

Konnikova doubled up to 74,000 while Chuzeville was left with a little over 25% of his original starting stack.

Moran Flying High After Stacking Opponent

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

With 6,200 chips already in the middle on the {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{k-Spades}{6-Spades} board, the late-position player bet 5,200. James Moran, sitting in the hijack seat, min-clicked it up to 10,400.

The late-position player then went all-in for 30,300 total and Moran snap-called.

Late Position: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}
James Moran: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}

Moran had flopped a straight and improved to the second nut flush but still had to sweat the river as his opponent had two pair plus the nut flush draw.

However, the {7-Hearts} completed the board and Moran stacked his opponent while taking his stack into six-figure territory.

Eyer Continues to Grow Big Stack with Big Blind Special

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

With over 25,000 chips in the middle in a battle of the blinds, Jeremy Eyer bet 19,000 from the big blind on the {4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} board.

His small-blind opponent hesitated for about 45 seconds before flicking in a green chip to signal a call for roughly half his remaining stack.

Eyer turned over {9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for the flopped two pair and sent his stack over the 150,000-chip plateau.

Shao Triples Up in Massive Three-Way All-In Pre-Flop Pot

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

The player in late position opened the action and the hijack three-bet to 4,500. Island Shao, on the button, opted to rip his stack of 40,500 chips into the middle.

The late position player, with 35,000 chips total, called and the player in the hijack decided to try to get lucky and came along for the ride, easily covering both players with about 70,000 total in his stack.

Late Position: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Island Shao: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Hijack: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

Shao took the lead on the {10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{a-Clubs} flop but the late position player picked up a lot of outs with the {k-Clubs} turn.

However, the {7-Diamonds} on the river gave Shao the scoop and a full triple-up.
