Level 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Simon Legat was in a heads-up pot against Anthony Hu and all of the chips got in the middle on the flop of {7-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, with Hu being the player at risk.

Anthony Hu: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Simon Legat: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Kanit Wounded as He Doubles Up Two Opponents

Level 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Mustapha Kanit
Mustapha Kanit

Mustapha Kanit recently took two significant hits to his stack after starting the day as one of the top ten in chips.

In one hand, Kanit was in the cutoff in a heads-up pot against Pablo Mariz in the big blind. Mariz checked on the board of {8-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and called a bet of 26,000 from Kanit.

Mariz checked again on the {9-Hearts} river and Kanit bet to put Mariz all-in. Mariz called. Kanit showed {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a pair of nines, which was no good against the flopped flush of Mariz with {j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

A few hands later, Kanit was in the big blind in a heads-up pot against Lance Yuen in middle position and got to the river with the board reading {10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. Kanit bet 55,000 on the river and Yuen moved all-in for about 155,000 and Kanit called. Yuen tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for a Broadway straight, while Kanit showed {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for a worse straight.

All said and done, the Italian pro was left with about 260,000 in his stack.
