The Online Railbird Report: Antonius Wins Again, Two Mystery Players Revealed & More

It��s been three good weeks in a row for Patrik ��FinddaGrind�� Antonius on the virtual felt. Two weeks ago, he was the second-biggest winner with $614,207 in profit, and last week he was the biggest winner with $718,952 in profit. This week, Antonius kept the ball rolling and once again finished as the week��s biggest winner with $350,731 in profit.

His win this week came from 1,430 hands over 13 sessions and put him up over $1.2 million on the year. As you can see, Antonius�� win and volume were a little lower than we��ve become accustomed to in the Online Railbird Report, but that was no doubt due to many of the high rollers being in Monte Carlo for the European Poker Tour Grand Final.

Speaking of which, Monaco is where PokerNews had the opportunity to reveal the identities of two of online poker��s most prolific players �� ��MalACEsia�� and ��samrostan.�� The former has been confirmed to be Paul Phua, who was actually the week��s second-biggest winner with $255,479 in profit in 420 hands over four sessions; while the latter is China��s Chun Lei Zhou, who didn��t play online this week but did speak with PokerNews.

��Yes, ��patpatpanda�� is me, ��samrostan�� is me,�� said Zhou, who speaks little English. ��I played for a long time, and lost some money. Then I changed my account to ��samrostan.���� Read the entire piece by clicking here.

Other weekly winners included Ronny ��ronnyr37617�� Kaiser ($251,978 in 61 sessions/2,641 hands) and Phil ��Polarizing�� Ivey ($113,849 in 14 sessions/1,001 hands) on Full Tilt Poker, and ��Yoghii�� ($153,122 in 6 sessions/339 hands) on PokerStars.

On the flip side, Niki Jedlicka was the week��s biggest loser after dropping $169,138 in 370 hands over five sessions. Other losers included Alex ��Alexonmoon�� Luneau (-$123,617 in 15 sessions/932 hands), "Sanlker�� (-$105,959 in 7 sessions/364 hands) and ��bbvisbadforme�� (-$88,725 in 91 hands over a single session).

��Yoghii�� & Amundsgard Books Six-Figure Wins in Thursday Action

On Thursday, April 24, the biggest games were to be found over on PokerStars, which is where ��Yoghii�� won $140,000 playing against Jedlicka and ��jama-dharma�� at the $1,000/$2,000 fixed-limit hold��em tables. Jedlicka, who was the week��s biggest loser, ended up losing $130,000 in the match.

Meanwhile, Ola ��no_Ola�� Amundsgard was also a big winner on Thursday, which is when he won $101,100 playing $200/$400 CAP pot-limit Omaha, most of which came off Viktor ��Isildur1�� Blom.

Blom Wins a Million in 17 Hours, but Loses It Back

From Monday, April 28 and into Tuesday, Blom played for 17 hours and won $1 million. The Swede started off winning $31,700 and $26,400 in two sessions at the $500/$1,000 and $1,000/$2,000 fixed-limit Omaha hi/lo (FLO8) tables, and then switched over to the $2,000/$4,000 limits. Over the next five hours, Blom took more than $800,000 from his opponent ��Carlooo13.�� Blom lost a little back, and by the time the clock ticked past midnight, he finished Monday up $698,600.

In the early morning hours on Tuesday, Blom also played a $500/$1,000 CAP PLO game against Ben ��Bttech86�� Tollerene, Hac ��trex313�� Dang, Gus Hansen, and Kaiser. In three hours, Blom managed to win $91,000.

Blom proceeded to bleed back money over the next few hours at various games, dropping as low as $400,000 in profit, but he managed to get it all back and then some from Tollerene. In just 30 minutes, Blom went from up $518,000 to up $1.02 million. Here are a couple hands from that match.

Hand #1: Tollerene ($97,254) limped from the button and Blom ($102,734.50) exercised his option from the big blind with a raise to $3,000. Tollerene called, the flop fell 2?5?7?, and Blom bet $4,000. Tollerene called, the 3? appeared on the turn, and Blom slowed down with a check.

Tollerene took the opportunity to bet $7,000, Blom called, and the 10? completed the board on the river. Blom checked for a second time, and then called when Tollerene bet $26,000. Tollerene showed the 9?8?4?Q? for a bluff, and Blom took down the $80,000 pot with the 3?5?Q?Q? for two pair.

Hand #2: Tollerene ($178,333.50) opened for $2,300 from the button and then called when Blom ($59,872.50) three-bet to $6,900, which brought about a flop of 4?5?K?. Blom led out for $13,800, Tollerene capped it at $33,100, and Blom called to create an $80,000 pot.

Blom had flopped top pair, but Tollerene had a wrap and flush draw. The two agreed to run it twice, and Tollerene locked up half the pot when the 6? and 4? appeared on the turn and river, respectively, on the first run. Likewise, the 9? turn on the second run wasn��t anything special, but the 2? was as it have Tollerene another straight and the other half of the pot.

Unfortunately for Blom, when he was back at it later Tuesday evening, he proceeded to lose a good portion of his profit back. In fact, he would lose so much back over the next few days that he would finish the week up just $53,375.

Antonius Continues to Win

It was also on Tuesday that Antonius won $331,200, enough to make him the day��s biggest winner. He did so playing 8-game and PLO where he won $199,000 and $114,700, respectively.

That said, the day��s biggest pot actually came at the $300/$600 no-limit hold��em tables, which is where Phua won $154,800. Have a look:

��punting-peddler�� Closes Out April with a $164,700 Win

On Wednesday, April 30, ��punting-peddler�� finished atop the daily leaderboard with $164,700 in profit at the $1,500/$3,000 8-game tables, which is where he played for 90 minutes against the likes of Elior ��Crazy Elior�� Sion and Hansen.

While ��punting-peddler�� may have been the day��s biggest winner, he wasn��t in the no-limit hold��em variant. That honor went to Phua, who walked away a $100,700 winner playing $300/$600 against players that included Alex ��IReadYrSoul�� Millar and Ben ��Sauce1234�� Sulsky.
